Today's Gulls news surrounds the first-choice goalkeeping position, with the announcement that Simon Rayner has finally completed his move to Crawley Town after much speculation.
Crawley's keeper from last season, ex-Gull Ashley Bayes, has joined the influx at Stevenage.
That might just open the way for the return of Michael Poke, who was mighty impressive during a loan spell with us last season. Poke is still on the books at Southampton, but heaven and earth could be shifted to get him back at Plainmoor.
