Top of the triallists at the moment is Serbian-born winger Nicola Nicolic, who has been playing in the reserves at FC Basle in Switzerland.
Sources say he's a bit of a rocket, and he is likely to make an appearance in the friendly at Tiverton on Saturday afternoon.
The Gulls have also made a new off-field signing, with Fletcher Larkin taking the role of strength and conditioning coach, a job he also performs with the rugby players down at the Tics.
Transfer news in the BSP includes Oxford snapping up Shrewsbury's James Constable and Bristol Rovers' Lewis Haldane, who always looks good against us. He scored in the 3-3 reserves draw at Plainmoor back in February.
Curtis Osano from Reading, who was on loan at Rushden last season, has now made the move permanent.
