The line-ups and subs were: TORQUAY: (4-4-2) Poke; Mansell (Robertson 45), Todd (Woods 45), Hargreaves (Ellis 45), Nicholson (Brough 45); Carlisle (Stevens 45), Wroe (Carayol 45), Thompson (Adams 45), Hodges; Sills, Benyon (Green 45). Sub not used: Rice.
BRISTOL ROVERS: (4-4-2) Phillips; Lescott, Hinton (Anthony 45), Coles (Elliott 45), Jacobsen; Lines, Campbell, Disley (Pipe 62), Rigg; Lambert (Williams 45), Duffy (Klein-Davies 62). Subs not used: Parrimello, Green, Reece.
REFEREE: Andy Woolmer
The only goal of the first half was a cracker from Joe Jacobsen, a mighty drive from 30 yards in the 28th minute, high into the corner of the net wide of Poke's right hand.
Tim Sills equalised after 48 minutes, heading in bravely from close range after a Carayol cross from the left.
Matt Green nearly won it for us with a shot that beat the keeper but came back off the post.
