TORQUAY United have confirmed League One Bristol Rovers as the latest addition to their programme of pre-season friendlies.

Rovers will visit Plainmoor on Saturday July 19 for a match with a 3pm kick-off.

Meanwhile, Torquay have also confirmed their participation in the new Errea South West Challenge tournament to take place in North Devon from July 21 to 27.

And Kevin Nicholson has made a winning start to his latest stint in the England C squad.The Gulls full back was in the England side that beat Gibraltar 1-0 in their opening match of a four-nation tournament being staged in Wales.
