SUMMER signings and existing squad members went through their paces at Newton Abbot racecourse yesterday for the first day of pre-season training.
Only Roscoe Dsane was absent, still recovering from surgery on his injured shoulder.
Paul Buckle will take the opportunity of an in-house practice match this weekend to run the rule over Jack Compton.
In Thursday's Herald Express and at www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk he explains how the search for a goalkeeper is still a priority, and gives his reaction to the fixture list.
Over at www.torquayunited.com you can bid for some of last year's first team shirts.
Elsewhere, Kaid Mohamed has completed a move from Swindon to Forest Green Rovers. Kaid looked tremendous at times during his loan spell with us last season, and could be a real boost for FGR.
